NTCP-DTCC MEERUT LAW ENFORCERS orientation program SAVE the Youth

Orientation program of Law Enforcers: COTPA 2003, one day session, was hosted by the DTCC Meerut under the leadership of the District Magistrate and Dr. Raj Kumar, Chief Medical Officer, on 12.01.2018 at the Convention Center of Vikash Bhawan, Meerut and jointly convened by ICanWin – ICanCaRe Team under its “SAVE the Youth - Win over Tobacco” program. The program coordination was done very efficiently by Dr. Dr. S S Choudhary, ACMO and Nodal Officer, DTCC Meerut; Mr. Mohit Bhardwaj, Fin. Consultant, DTCC Meerut; and Mr. Satish Tripathy, State Consultant, STCC UP Lucknow. A total of 63 Enforcement Officers attended the Orientation program of Law Enforcers: COTPA 2003 program where the emphasis was mainly on implementation of COTPA provisions in order to curb illegal tobacco trading and also issue of Challan to offenders and reporting of the booking through Monthly Crime Reports of the Police. The interactive session was conducted by Dr. Pawan Gupta, Sr Cancer Surgeon & President, ICanWin Foundation, initiated the program with the focus on ill effects of tobacco use on health and productivity of an individual and the necessity of enforcing an effective COTPA provision that should prove as a detrimental mechanism against the wrong doers in the tobacco trade and discourage trading of tobacco in the society. Discussion on different provisions under COTPA was elaborated by Mr. Rabindra N Mishra, Lawyer & Program Coordinator of ICanCaRe, and Mr. CPM Tripathy, SPO & Jt Director Prosecution, Meerut. Special commentaries were also shared by Dr. Raj Kumar, CMO, Meerut, as to how the social aspect of the addiction is to be considered while implementing COTPA provisions and on a closing note he suggested that this orientation program is the right beginning of Tobacco Awareness and Sensitization of the Enforcement Officers in Meerut District to curb the tobacco menace from the society.

डॉ पवन गुप्ता M.Ch, .President, I CAN WIN FOUNDATION में और निदेशक कैंसर विज्ञान जेपी अस्पताल  के साथ www.icancare.org एक प्रशिक्षण GBSSS एनआईटी 3 में शिविर में एनएसएस स्वयंसेवकों के लिए व्याख्यान,फरीदाबाद का आयोजन पर 25 ^{दिसम्बर,} 2017। एक कॉमिक पुस्तिका " जगतुख रहें प्रारंभ न  करे " डॉ पवन गुप्ता द्वारा लिखित को सभी छात्रों को दिया गया और सर्वेक्षण किए गए

शिविर श्री सुशील कनवा द्वारा आयोजित किया जा रहा था।

डॉ पवन गुप्ता ने अपने भाषण में तम्बाकू, तम्बाकू इतिहास और सक्रिय और निष्क्रिय धूम्रपान के बारे में बताया। उन्होंने स्वयंसेवकों को समझाया कि उन्हें तम्बाकू के मुक्त पर्यावरण का निर्माण करना होगा सबसे पहले उन्हें तम्बाकू शुरू नहीं करना चाहिए और दूसरा, उन्हें अपने आसपास के लोगों को तम्बाकू न लेने की सलाह और जो तम्बाकू लेते हैं उनको छोड़ ने में मदद करनी चाहिए। स्वयंसेवकों को यह निर्देश दिया गया कि वे आसान 4D पद्धति द्वारा तम्बाकू छोड़ ने पर लोगों को कैसे मदद कर सकते हैं।

बहुत सारे पानी पीना, घैरी साँस लेने का व्यायाम, आहार और किसी अन्य गतिविधि में देरी या संलग्न होना।

स्वयंसेवक अर्द्ध-शहरी पृष्ठभूमि से संबंधित थे और 60% से अधिक घर पर तम्बाकू के संपर्क में थे। तो डॉ पवन गुप्ता ने आग्रह किया कि वे एक सुखद लेकिन फर्म पद्धति से घर से स्वयंसेवा करना शुरू करें।परिवार के सदस्यों को तम्बाकू छोड़ने की मार्गदर्शिका और फिर समाज को संदेश फैलाने के साथ शुरू करने के लिए आगे बढे.

इस अवसर पर श्री सुरेन्द्र मदन, जीबीएसएसएस के एनआईटी 3 फरीदाबाद प्रधानाध्यापक  और श्री भाटिया, रेड क्रॉस के उपस्थित थे।

Swami Vivekananda and Sister Margaret Awards 2017 at Kolkatta 21.12.2017

I CAN WIN FOUNDATION  recieved the prestigious Swami Vivekananda and Sister Margaret awards 2017 for comprehensive community and social activities.

The award ceremony was held at the Vivekanand Auditorium, Yuva Kendra, Molali, Kolkatta on 21st december 2017

Dr Pawan Gupta - National President, I CAN WIN FOUNDATION collected the award from His excellency Governor of West Bengal Shri keshari Nath Tripathi.

Swami Shastrajananda Maharaj, Principal Ramakrishna Mission Vidhya mandir was present on the occasion.

"It is a proud moment for I CAN WIN FOUNDATION, the efforts to win over cancer and to change the way cancer is perceived by the society is being recognised. The prestigious Swami Vivekanand Award is reward for the smile that we have been able to put on the faces of thousands of patients suffering with cancer and to be able to bring a change in the society to be self aware" said Dr Pawan Gupta.

Women health program at NTPC Noida 2017-12-15

A women health awareness talk was organised by the NTPC Sanyukta Mahila Samiti at NTPC colony, Sector 33, Noida

Dr Pawan Gupta M.Ch. President I CAN WIN FOUNDATION gave a talk on "COMMON HEALTH MISTAKES MADE BY WOMEN" and demonstration on Catch them early - self breast awareness on a mannequin. He emphasised also on SAVE the youth- Win over Tobacco program to be launched in the whole campus of NTPC.
Cervical cacner and its prevention was emphasised in great extent with its prevention strategy including "MY HYGEINE MY RESPONSIBILTY and HPV Vaccination"

Dr Basant Behera, Dr Kamal Purusottam, Dr Sarbani Mukherjee were present on the occasion.

The Chief Guest for the function were Mrs Ray and Mrs Gupta.
Both of them wanted to take this campaign ahead and be part of the I CAN WIN Foundation.

Mrs Gitika Shiv, HR head was present on the occasion and very much enthusiastic about the program.
