Principal,Mrs. Anil Choudhary, Principal mentioned that we could see a new thought of a positive life is born today after this tobacco sensitization program conducted by Mr Manshu of ICanWin Foundation and DTCC Meerut team. We could see a positive energy among the students charged with enthusiasm to learn about the ill effects of tobacco and COTPA. After a long deliberation by Mr Manshu, some. Of the senior students admitted that they have been exposed to tobacco use and pledged that they would abstain from Tobacco forever. They admitted that they got into such habit because of a wrong peer group and promised to protect themselves and their friends from such a killer and cancerous chemical called Tobacco.

Tobacco sensitization program is supported by District Tobacco Control Cell (DTCC, c/o Chief Medical Officer Meerut, Govt of UP), under the National Tobacco Control Program (NTCP) 2019-20 coverage.

Volunteers deliberated on the ill effects of tobacco on the youth, their family members and members in the society, overall health and financial burden in India and explained the relevance of SAVE the Youth – Win Over Tobacco program to control tobacco menace.

“Be Smart Do Not Start” comic booklet on tobacco awareness authored by Dr Pawan Gupta, MS MCH (National President of ICanWin Foundation and Sr Cancer Surgeon) was distributed among the 206 students and teachers; a quiz competition was conducted at the end to which students answered as per their understanding.
A Tobacco Control Committee consisting of 4 teachers was formed in the school to keep an eye on different tobacco related activities and its violation under COTPA 2003.Yellow line campaign conducted with a painting depicting the school as tobacco free zone.
