Principal,Mrs. Ranjana Gaur Pressed the way mr. manshu goyal connected to the young students in explaining theem the harm of tobacco use by there family member. One of the boy students enquired wheather of his family members,a bidi user can be councelled or treated by DTCC to help in quiet tobacco.

Tobacco sensitization program is supported by District Tobacco Control Cell (DTCC, c/o Chief Medical Officer Meerut, Govt of UP), under the National Tobacco Control Program (NTCP) 2019-20 coverage.

Volunteers deliberated on the ill effects of tobacco on the youth, their family members and members in the society, overall health and financial burden in India and explained the relevance of SAVE the Youth – Win Over Tobacco program to control tobacco menace.

“Be Smart Do Not Start” comic booklet on tobacco awareness authored by Dr Pawan Gupta, MS MCH (National President of ICanWin Foundation and Sr Cancer Surgeon) was distributed among the 206 students and teachers; a quiz competition was conducted at the end to which students answered as per their understanding.

A Tobacco Control Committee consisting of 4 teachers was formed in the school to keep an eye on different tobacco related activities and its violation under COTPA 2003.Yellow line campaign conducted with a painting depicting the school as tobacco free zone.

Principal, Mr. Yachana Bhardwaj, Himself analysed the gravity of burden  due to tobacco addiction in India and suggested that every individual must moved towards deaddiction of all substance of abused.
