Tobacco Sensitisation by #icancare in Association with Kulshrestha cancer care Charitable trust at Noida

IcanCare team participated in a program at Dainik puja path at sector 19, Noida on 21-Sep-2019.
Total number of participants were around 50-60.
Dr. Avnica & Dr. Suchitra talked about ill- effects of tobacco and how it is associated with oral cancer and ways to de- addict with this habit.

Dr Avnica  and Dr Suchitra are Certified Tobacco Cessation Specialists from Gujarat University.

The program was initiated by Kulshrestha cancer care Charitable trust.

DTCC Meerut and ICanWin Foundation under leadership of Dr Raj Kumar, CMO and Dr S Chaudhury, Nodal Officer, DTCC Meerut, conducted a sensitization program on 01.06.2019 covering Cancer and tobacco awareness and a signature campaign on the eve of World No Tobacco Day, 31st May 2019 for NCC students at NCC Hqrs Meerut Cantt. 535 NCC student from 17 schools and colleges of Meerut district and NCC officials took a pledge on Tobacco Free world through a community based awareness approach. The program was conducted by Dr S Chandra from DTCC Meerut and Rabindra Mishra from ICanWin Foundation.

Mrs Rana, IPS Principal, facilitated the program with cooperation of Mr Mohit Bharadwaj from DTCC team, Rabindra Mishra from ICanWin Foundation and Ms Aiman Farhat from Law school of Subharti university.

DTCC Meerut and ICanWin Foundation under leadership of Dr Raj Kumar, CMO Meerut, conducted signature campaign on the eve of World No Tobacco Day, 31st May 2019 for students of School of Nursing, Subharti university, Meerut. 105 nursing student, teacher and doctor/ healthcare professionals from PHC Jani, made a pledge on Tobacco Free world through a community based street play 'Tambaku Pe Nukkad Natak' performed by students.
 The program with cooperation of Dr S Chaudhury, Nodal Officer, Dr S Chandra, Mr Mohit Bharadwaj and Mr Vikash Kumar from DTCC team, Rabindra Mishra from ICanWin Foundation, was successfully guided by Ms. Bhupinder Kaur, Asst Prof School of Nursing of Subharti University.
