IDA Hapur organised a sensitization program on Win over Tobacco Made Easy.
Talk was delivered by Dr Pawan Gupta, Director Oncosurgery (HN) Max Hospital, Advisor ICanCaRe and ICanWin Foundation.

The topic covered tobacco cessation in nutshell. the gathering was left wanting more. Yes there is so much to know about this complex disease. The treatment of this is also complex. it requires proper training and hand holding. The concept of 360 degree care including quit coach support was introduced. The Certified Tobacco Cessation Course and setting up of Digital Networked tobacco cessation centre and program was discussed. The support system of dental surgeons as tobacco Ambassador and oral health and oral screening of cancer was largely emphasized

Must say the participants were a mix of enthusiastically and also silent spectator. Overall it want well, specially the interaction after the presentation while having snacks.

It was a houseful program on 16th February 2020. at MAX Super specialty Hospital, Vaishali

The program organised jointly by IDA, ICanCaRe and Max Extended Care.

The Organizing Chairman, Dr Umesh Sharma, President Elect Indian Dental Association - UP Chapter welcomed the guest.
Dr Pawan Gupta, Director Head and Neck, Max Institute of Cancer Care, and also Advisor ICanCaRe introduced the team at MICC and also of ICanCaRe.
The program was well coordinated by Dr Ritu Chandra and Dr Amit Tyagi.

the purpose of the workshop was to make a the dental surgeons who are available at all the places to be aware about oral cancers and be part of the network for screening, lifestyle modifications and rehabilitation as change the prognosis and morbidity associated with oral cancer.

Senior Dental doctors like dr Puneet Ahuja, Dr Kumar Rajan added useful tips during the program

Dr Kumar Rajans talk on oral health following Radiotherapy was very much useful for the participants.

Mr Rishabh Agrawal's presentation on Tobacco Cessation was much appreciated

The practical demonstration on examining the oral cavity, biopsy and FNAC added the a much needed flare to the program.

The team from MICC - Dr Sowrabh, Dr Vipin, Dr Rajat, Dr Vikas gave insight into various aspects of oral oncology.

The quiz was really talk of the whole workshop. It was a informative quiz with lot of fun.

The participants, young and senior dental surgeon were from various Institute as well as private practitioners.

The team from the marketing department needs the much needed appreciation for the event.
