"Aware When Young" - a I CAN WIN program for the students was conducted at the MVN School Sector 17, Faridabad for the students of class 10 and 11 on 18th December 2012.
Mr Sushil Singh Executive member of Indian Cancer Winners' Association -Faridabad, coordinated with the School Management to arrange the program.
The workshop was conducted by Dr Pawan Gupta MS., M.Ch., FAIS, FSOG - National President of Indian Cancer Winners' Association and HOD of Surgical Oncology, Asian Cancer Centre, Faridabad.
Others present were - Dr Niti Gulati, Dr Rajni, Dr Anushree - all volunteers of I CAN WIN.
The students participated enthusiastically in the workshop.
The theme of the workshop was "win over cancer" - to remove the ignorance and myths associated with cancer and more importantly focus on the lifestyle improvement-"the way we live determines the way we die and when we die".
The open house after the workshop had lot of students asking questions to the experts. and everyone was given a 'Positive about life-I CAN WIN' badges.
A questionnaire on tobacco was filled by the students at the end of the session.
Lot of students volunteered to be part of I CAN WIN to "WIN OVER CANCER"

It’s really good to know that how ‘I can win’ foundation is doing excellent work for the society for win over cancer. I am sure, right information about this disease, its treatment process, keeping positive attitude during treatment, support from relatives, all these aspects play a vital role in fighting with cancer and help patient to recover fast and perfectly healthy after the treatment.
