2013.01.13 Cancer Awareness Meeting held on at Gyandeep School, Goverdhan Road, Mathura.

The above Programme was organised by I CAN WIN Association (Central office) at about 12.30 Noon on 10^th January 2013 at Gyandeep School, Goverdhan Road, Mathura to start a new chapter of I CAN WIN Association at Mathura.

Following persons were present in the meeting.

1.    Sh. R.K. Goel, Vice President, I CAN WIN Association (Central Office).

2.    Sh. Suresh Prakash, National Secretary, I CAN WIN Association (Central Office).

3.    Sri Mohan Swaroop Bhatia, Secretary, Gyandeep Society and renowned writer & press correspondent.

4.    Shri K.G. Maheshwari, Key Person of Gyandeep School Management.

5.    Mr. Karan Kumar, Office Superintendent, I CAN WIN Association (Central Office).

In the meeting possibility of opening a new chapter at Mathura was discussed in detail and Sri Mohan Swaroop Bhatia has given very good ideas for this good cause. His idea was, we should accept only one rupee as membership fee, as they are charging for Gyandeep Society and for the same it was thought that it will be decided in our Central Body Management Committee meeting. He has also given idea of establishing a Cancer Screening Centre & a Cancer Hospital at Mathura in due course of time.

The meeting was methodical & beautifully arranged & followed by wonderful lunch by courtesy Sri K.G. Maheswari.

2013.01.10 Cancer Awareness Meeting held at Gyandeep School, Goverdhan Road, Mathura

2013.01.13 Cancer Awareness Programme & Screening Camp at Vivekanand Puri, New Delhi

The above programme was organised by Agrawal Sabha, Vivekanand Puri, Delhi-110007. Programme was started at about 11.00 am at assembly hall, ground floor, Shiv Mandir Bhawan, Vivekanand Puri, Delhi. Total numbers of participants were approx 100 including 50 ladies. The programme was organised by Sri Maya Prakash Gupta,  President, Agrawal Sabha.

This educative programme was organised by Agrawal Sabha in collaboration of State Bank of India. A Blood Donation Camp & Eye Checkup Camp was also arranged simultaneously. Free Blood Pressure and Sugar checkup also took place & a good number of residents of Vivekanad Puri participated in the event.  

Following guests were honoured by the Agrawal Sabha.

4.     Dr. K. Geeta, MS.(Onco. Surgeon), Max Hospital, New Delhi. (Expert Member)

The awareness programme was conducted by Dr. Rudra Acharya, Onco Surgeon of B.L. Kapoor Hospital, Karol Bagh, New Delhi exhibiting about the origin of cancer, its symptoms & early detection. Dr. K. Geeta, M.S. Onco. Surgeon, Max Hospital, New Delhi spoke regarding common cancers in ladies i.e. Breast & Cervix. She told in details symptoms of both the cancers & self Breast Examination & prevention of Cervical Cancer through Vaccination.

Sri Suresh Prakash National Secretary told about our organisation, its working. He told that Cancer is curable provided detected & treated at an early stage. Mr. Maya Prakash Gupta expressed thanks & importance of such educative programs, healthy life style & assured to help the I CAN WIN to achieve its objectives.

The programme was methodical & beautifully arranged & followed by wonderful gifts to the expert doctors & representatives of I CAN WIN Association.

The programme was over at about 1.30 pm after serving delicious high tea courtesy by Agarwal Sabha, Vivekanand Puri, New Delhi.
